Double Down in November: Master Your Double Unders

Are you ready to tackle one of the most challenging skills in CrossFit? This November, we’re dedicating the month to Double Unders. We know they can be frustrating – the feeling of the rope catching on your toes, the sting on your shins, and the endless struggle to get that smooth rhythm. But with consistent practice and the right approach, Double Unders are within reach for everyone!

Why Double Down?

Double Unders are a skill that take time, patience, and regular practice to master. They’re not just about speed but also technique, timing, and a whole lot of perseverance. Many of you have told us about the frustration of those first attempts, the constant tripping, and feeling like you’re not making progress. That’s exactly why we’re diving into a focused month of training, so you can start breaking through those barriers!

Here’s How It Works:

From November 1st, every class at CrossFit 020 will include a Double Under warm-up protocol. Whether you’re just starting or already comfortable with Double Unders, these warm-ups will provide a structured way to build up your skill. Practicing daily, even just for a few minutes, is the best way to improve and get comfortable with the rhythm and coordination needed for this movement.

The Final Challenge

At the end of the month, from November 25 to 30, we’ll celebrate your progress with a Final Challenge Week! Set a personal record for your first Double Under, max reps in one set, or most Double Unders in five minutes. We’ll keep a scoreboard in the gym to track everyone’s achievements and celebrate each milestone, no matter how big or small.

Let’s Make it Happen!

Whether you’re aiming for your very first Double Under or refining your technique for a new personal best, November is the month to make it happen. Let’s turn that frustration into progress, one jump at a time.

Prepare to crush your Double Unders and feel the thrill of nailing a skill you once thought was out of reach!
